A Fine Victorian three-row natural pearl necklace, the 268 natural saltwater pearls accompanied by GCS Report 5777-8663, graduating from the centre with diameters from 3.0 to 6.9mm, strung to three graduating rows, to a snake head and tail clasp encrusted with pearls, emeralds and rubies, circa 1850, measuring approximately 40 x 2cm, gross weight 42.3 grams. Unmarked tested as 18ct Gold. A Victorian three-row natural pearl necklace in Excellent condition.
A beautiful antique pearl necklace with an exquisitely decorated clasp in the form of a serpent’s head. Adorned with pearls, rubies and emeralds the clasp becomes the centrepiece, positioned off-centre and on display at the front of the neck, strung together by three rows of warm creamy pearls.
