An Edwardian diamond and pearl bracelet by Skinner & Co, set with a line of graduated old-cut diamonds set either side with a scalloped edged diamond-set border all in millegrain, estimated total diamond weight approximately 5 carats, with five natural pearls accompanied by GCS Certificate number 77101-00 stating natural saltwater evenly spaced between the graduated diamonds, all in platinum, circa 1905, measuring approximately 19 x 0.8cm, gross weight 23.0 grams, in original fitted case.

This exquisite Edwardian bracelet was made by Skinner & Co, the predecessor to Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. An exquisite Edwardian bracelet. It features a line of glittering diamonds set between a scalloped diamond border. Spaced throughout the diamonds are five natural saltwater pearl with beautiful nacre. The gems are set in platinum, which became popular in the Edwardian period for its strength and ability to be moulded into fine, lacelike shapes. The combination of diamonds and pearls are classically Edwardian, and beautifully complement each other. This timeless piece would look gorgeous worn with an evening gown or a bridal ensemble.
