An Important Art-deco Ruby Bead Triple Strand Necklace
An Important Art-Deco ruby bead triple strand necklace, the three hundred and seventy one polished ruby beads weighing 223.50 carats, accompanied by GCS Report stating to be of Burmese origin with no indications of heating, graduating from the centre in three strands, with two diamond encrusted spacers set with round cut and baguette cut diamonds weighing approximately a total of 4.0 carats, set to a white gold mount, circa 1920, gross weight 54.75 grams.
An exceptional ruby and diamond necklace. This necklace features three rows of vivid and vibrant ruby beads. The beads meet at two diamond-set spacers, one of which also acts as the necklace’s clasp. The spacers are a geometric, typically Art-Deco design, set throughout with glittering round and baguette cut diamonds. These geometric spacers provide a wonderful contrast to the ruby beads. This gorgeous piece would be a stunning addition to a silk evening gown.
