An elegant and sophisticated pair of late Georgian earrings. These earrings display the perfect combination of Georgian femininity and opulence and a renewed interest in the arts and motifs of the Ancient world. The palmette motif that makes up the drop of these earrings is an ancient design, dating back to Ancient Egypt and representing the fronds of a plant. Palmette motifs can be seen across the ancient world, decorating column capitals, ceramics, and more. These glittering earrings make a wonderful statement and would be perfect worn with an evening gown.
