A Victorian Style Three-stone Ruby And Diamond Ring
A Victorian style three-stone ruby and diamond ring, the cushion shaped ruby weighing 2.34 carats accompanied by GCS Report stating to be from Mozambique with no indications of heating, set between two old brilliant-cut diamonds weighing approximately a total of 0.45 carats, all claw-set to a yellow gold carved half hoop ring mount with scrolled shoulders, marked 15ct gold, circa 1930, the head measuring approximately 0.9×1.5cm, finger size N, gross weight 3.90 grams. This ring is in very good condition.
This stunning ring was made in around 1930 but draws stylistic inspiration from the soft styles of the Victorian era. This ring features an impressive and vivid central ruby. The oval-cut ruby is flanked on either side by two scintillating diamonds, and the yellow gold nineteenth-century style mount provides a gorgeous complement to the stones.
