A wonderful and expressive pair of earrings. The Ancient Etruscan people lived in what is now Italy from roughly from 700 BC to 300 BC and produced magnificent gold jewellery. In the mid-nineteenth century, a series of Etruscan tombs were discovered and excavated, and this discovery led to a widespread revival in ancient Etruscan style jewellery in nineteenth century Europe. These delightful earrings incorporate many elements of Etruscan design and are remarkably wearable and well-suited to contemporary taste.
