A diamond gold bracelet in very good condition.
A bold and stylish bracelet. This piece is clearly influenced by Victorian serpent style jewellery, but the sculptural nature of this piece places it firmly in the mid-20th century. This piece exemplifies mid-century glamour: each flexible part of the serpent’s tail is set with lively diamonds. The face of the serpent is wonderfully carved and detailed, from the bright green garnet eyes to the delicate rendering of the forked tongue and sharp teeth of the serpent. This is a fabulous piece: eye-catching and conversation starting.
