A Late Georgian Six-row Natural Pearl And Diamond Necklace
An antique diamond and seed pearl collar necklace, to the centre a late Georgian diamond-set cluster, mounted centrally with an old-mine-cut diamond estimated to weigh 0.7 carats surrounded by three concentric clusters set with fifty smaller old-mine cut diamonds, circa 1800, attached to six rows of uniform natural pearls interspersed with later cultured seed pearl replacements, with two Victorian diamond-set spacers and diamond-set clasp, encrusted with forty-one small old mine and old European-cut diamonds, all diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 6.2 carats, all set in silver to a gold back, measuring approximately 33cm long, gross weight 32.6 grams.
A remarkable Georgian pearl and diamond necklace. This necklace features six rows of lustrous natural pearls that meet in the centre at a magnificent diamond plaque. The centre plaque features a central diamond surrounded by a further fifty lively and scintillating diamonds. This enchanting necklace recalls the ornate splendour of the late Georgian period.
