A wonderful Victorian brooch. This brooch is typical of High Victorian style, which incorporated ancient techniques with richly coloured enamel. Featuring blue enamel and lovely lustrous pearls set in a cross, this brooch also features fine gold wirework decorations, influenced by the techniques used in Etruscan jewellery. This fabulous piece would look excellent pinned to a wide lapel.
