An Early Victorian diamond-set cross brooch, centrally-set with an oval old-cut diamond estimated to weigh 1.50 carats, surrounded by an old-cut diamond cluster, with openwork diamond-set arms, each terminating to a diamond-set cluster and trefoil decoration, flanked with diamond-set decorations in-between, the total diamond weight including the central stone approximately 6.50 carats, all cut-down set in silver to yellow gold back, with old brooch fitting and foldable pendant loop, overall dimensions 5.5 x 5.7 cm, gross weight 13.5 grams, in a fitted case by Carrington & Co, circa 1830s,
