An Early Victorian Diamond Spray Brooch
An early Victorian diamond spray brooch, the flower-head centrally set with an old cut diamond estimated to weigh 0.6 carats, each petal with a pear-shaped diamond surrounded by smaller old-cut diamonds, set amongst foliate decorations, the diamonds estimated to weigh 12 carats in total, set in silver on a yellow gold back, circa 1840, measuring approximately 10 long and 4.4cm wide, gross weight 21 grams. Unmarked tested as 18ct Gold and Silver. Victorian brooch in excellent condition.
A beautiful, early Victorian floral diamond brooch. The eye is drawn to the sparkle of the central flower, set with an old cut diamond, whilst the stalk rises upwards shimmering to the very tips of the petals
