A stunning and sophisticated tiara. No other piece of jewellery quite captures the imagination like the tiara: it is a romantic, striking piece. This particular tiara was made in the late Victorian period, in around 1890, and features a wonderful pearl and diamond design. The central pearl and diamond cluster is emblematic of design of this period, and the shape of the tiara has a sense of neoclassical simplicity. This tiara, like most from the time period, converts into a magnificent necklace when taken off the yellow gold frame. This gives the piece a spectacular versatility. This piece would be a striking and elegant addition to a bride’s wedding day ensemble and would serve as the idea “something old”.
