An Art Deco Emerald And Diamond Cluster Ring

An Art Deco emerald and diamond cluster ring, the 1.22 carats octagonal-cut emerald accompanied by GCS Report, stating to be of Colombian origin with minor clarity enhancement, rub-over set in yellow gold collet, surrounded by an octagonal frame set with twelve old-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 1.2 carats in total, mounted in platinum with millegraine-edge, to an openwork gallery with scalloped decorations and parallel-split shank, circa 1920, the head measuring 1.6×1.3cm, finger size L, gross weight 4.5 grams. This ring is in excellent condition. Unmarked, tested as platinum with yellow gold setting edge to emerald.

A hypnotic Art Deco ring. This ring features a bright grass green central Columbian emerald surrounded by twelve scintillating diamonds. The octagonal cut of the emerald is typically Art Deco, and the use of both yellow gold and platinum makes this ring versatile and strikingly modern. This sophisticated ring comes from the collection of Bentley & Skinner, the London jewellers by appointment to both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and would make a perfect and unique engagement ring.
