This exceptional pendant necklace was made by Ilgiz Fazulzyanov, a widely recognized master in the art of jewellery and particularly enamelwork. This pendant exemplifies Ilgiz F.’s astounding craftsmanship, featuring a diamond-framed oval set with openwork enamelled dragonflies. The delicate dragonflies are exquisitely crafted with plique-a-jour enamel work, and reference the dragonflies present in many of the Art Nouveau jeweller Rene Lalique’s work. Suspended from the inside of the pendant is a single glittering green beryl, which adds romantic charm and sparkle to this dazzlingly intricate and impressive piece. The pendant is hung from a handwoven light grey silk cord that features sparkling diamond sliders and hardstone finials for further detail. Ilgiz Fazulzyanov has twice been awarded the grand prize at the International Jewellery Design Excellence Awards, and his work is held in the collection of world-renowned museums including the Kremlin Museum in Moscow.
