A Victorian ruby and diamond marquise shape cluster ring, the oval-cut faceted ruby weighing an estimated 1.1 carats, claw-set to the centre of a diamond-set cluster surround, the twenty four old-cut diamonds weighing approximately a total of 0.75 carat, all to a yellow gold mount with tapering engraved shoulders and D-section shank, gross weight 4.8 grams, circa 1890.
