A Late 19th Century Enamel And Diamond Four-clover Brooch
A late 19th century enamel and diamond four-clover brooch, the old European-cut diamond, estimated to weigh 0.17 carats, six claw-set to the centre of four green enamel leaves, all to a rose gold back with a brooch fitting, circa 1900, measuring approximately 2.7×2.7cm, gross weight 4.9 grams. This enamel brooch is in very good condition, slight wear to edge of enamel consistent with age and wear. Unmarked, tested as 9ct gold.
A charming brooch. The naturalistic leaves on the clover are wonderfully detailed, delicately wrought in vibrant green and yellow enamel. At the centre of the clover is a glittering diamond. This brooch is a wonderful lucky charm.
