This exquisite pair of earrings was made by Ilgiz Fazulzyanov, a widely recognized master in the art of jewellery and particularly enamelwork. The red anemone flower is highly symbolic in many cultures, and in Ancient Greek mythology, it is the flower that Adonis became after he died in the arms of his lover, Aphrodite. The anemone flower in these earrings is wonderfully detailed, and the red enamel provides a gorgeous contrast with the black diamonds and the black onyx. Ilgiz Fazulzyanov has twice been awarded the grand prize at the International Jewellery Design Excellence Awards, and his work is held in the collection of world-renowned museums including the Kremlin Museum in Moscow.
