A Victorian diamond and emerald encrusted frog, the realistically carved body set with eighty-three rose-cut diamonds and fourteen faceted emeralds, with two round faceted rubies as eyes, all mounted in silver and yellow gold, with gold brooch fitting, circa 1880, measuring approximately 3.4x3cm, gross weight 8 grams. Unmarked tested as 15ct Gold and Silver. Victorian brooch in good condition, signs of historical repairs.
