More informationA pair of early 20th centurycylindrical drop earrings, each earring with seven faceted sapphire rondels, accompanied by GCS report stating to be of Sri-Lankan origin, alternating with rose-cut diamond-set rondels with two conical-shaped finials, suspended by an old-cut diamond-set run, all millegrain-set in platinum with post and alpha-type fittings, circa 1930 measuring approximately 4.6cm long, gross weight 12.2 grams.
Created in around 1930, these earrings incorporate elements of Art Deco design. The dazzling pale blue sapphires in these earrings have a wonderful hue and the unique design of these earrings make them a perfect accessory to an evening gown.
