An Art Deco Double Buddha Jabot Pin
An Art Deco double Buddha jabot pin, with a blue and a white pâte de verre Buddhas, each embellished with rose-cut diamond-set halo and base, the white one bearing also a pendant, all set in platinum and gold, possibly French circa 1920, measuring approximately 4.8 x 1.6cm, gross weight 5.1 grams.
A delicate and charming Art Deco jabot pin. This pin features two wonderfully detailed pâte de verre buddhas embellished with rose cut diamonds. This pin embodies the influence Japanese and Chinese art had on Art Deco design in the 1920s, and is reminiscent of the pâte de verre buddha stick pins made by Lacloche in the same period. This characterful pin would look lovely adorning a collar or lapel.
