A Victorian half pearl and diamond necklace, the starburst pendant centrally-set with a pearl surrounded by eight old European-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 0.6 carats in total, surrounded by eight arrows set with pearls, with pearl-set quatrefoil decorations in between, terminating to a seed pearl, to a detachable pendant loop in the form of a trefoil, suspended by a necklace of five floral half-pearl set graduating clusters with leaf shape links in between leading to a half-pearl set chain with concealed box push clasp, all mounted in yellow gold mount tested as 15ct, measuring approximately 43cm long, the pendant measuring approximately 5×3.5cm, circa 1880, gross weight 38.8 grams.
A stunning Victorian necklace. This necklace features a chain set with lustrous half pearls in bright yellow gold. Five floral pearl clusters are set on the chain, and the centre one has a pendant loop for attaching the magnificent pendant that comes with this set. The pendant features a central pearl surrounded by a star motif set with scintillating old-cut diamonds. Further pearls are set in the intricate openwork yellow gold frame. The pearls and diamonds are beautifully complemented by the warm yellow gold of the settings.
