A wonderful intaglio ring. It features a Roman carved carnelian intaglio dating to the 1st century BC-1st century AD, depicting the figure of a kneeling warrior. This ancient piece is set to a warm yellow gold band and rubover setting, which complements the orange hue of the carnelian beautifully.
