An exceptional Victorian sapphire and diamond brooch/ring. This piece features an important yellow sapphire weighing thirty-one and a half carats. The sapphire is a deep canary yellow and has a beautiful, faceted sparkle. Surrounding the sapphire is a halo of glittering old-cut diamonds weighing a total of over two carats. The impressive stone can be worn as a brooch or removed from the brooch fitting and attached to a yellow gold ring setting. As a ring, this piece makes a stunning and eye-catching statement, and as a brooch, would add colour and sparkle to a silk evening gown.
