A Late Victorian Sapphire, Emerald & Diamond Ring

A late Victorian sapphire, emerald and diamond cross-over ring, the two clusters centred with a sapphire weighing 0.36ct and an emerald weighing 0.22ct, each within a cluster of old-cut diamonds, to a split shank with diamond-set shoulders, diamonds weighing approximately 1.0 carat, all set in platinum and yellow gold, circa 1900, head measuring 1.3×1.8cm, size K, gross weight 3.5 grams.

A lovely turn of the century ring. This piece features a sapphire cluster and an emerald cluster crossing over each other. The sapphire and emerald wonderfully complement each other and are surrounded by glinting diamonds that carry over from the clusters to the band of the ring. The split ring style is delicate and stylish, making this a feminine and pretty piece.
