A Victorian Diamond-set Tiara
A Victorian diamond-set tiara, to the centre three large old European-cut diamonds, vertically set in a foliate design, to further openwork scroll design sections set throughout with old-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 26 carats in total, all diamonds set in silver to yellow gold mount, to a gilt plated frame, converting to a necklace with detachable diamond-set back section, circa 1880, measuring approximately 5.2cm high, gross weight with the frame 68.4 grams.
A remarkable diamond tiara. This stunning piece features a naturalistic curved design of foliate motifs set entirely with dazzling diamonds. The diamonds weigh an impressive, combined total of about twenty-six carats, and scintillate beautifully. Eye-catching and romantic, this gorgeous piece is a perfect example of late Victorian opulence and romance. This piece can also be converted into a sparkling necklace by removing it from its frame, making it versatile and wearable. An enchanting Victorian piece.
