A Victorian multi-colour gem and diamond clover leaf brooch, the three leaves each set with a pear-shaped stone, one emerald, one ruby and one sapphire, each surrounded by nine graduating old European-cut diamonds to a diamond encrusted stalk, the diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 1.2 carats, set in silver to yellow gold mount, circa 1900.

A Victorian lapis, half pearl and diamond pendant,

A Victorian lapis, half pearl and diamond pendant, in the form of a stylised Latin cross, set with twelve square cabochon-cut lapis and embellished with four fleur-de-lis clusters of half pearls and old-cut diamonds, to closed satin-finish yellow gold mount and suspended from a lapis and half-pearl pendant loop, accompanied by round cabochon-set lapis and yellow gold chain, pendant measuring approximately 7.0 x 4.3cm and the chain has a total length of 40cm, circa 1880.

In the early Christian tradition lapis lazuli was regarded as the stone of Virgin Mary and the pearls are the ultimate symbol of purity.

An Important gold and lapis bangle by Cartier, set to the centre with a gold dome inlayed in a lapis plaque, surrounded by Etruscan style wire and bead-work decorations, the hinged bangle composed of four panels each bearing a smaller gold dome inlayed in lapis to twisted-wire decorations, all five panels connected with five engraved bar links, each bar flanked by two oval cabochon lapis, all mount in yellow gold to an interlocking slide clasp and safety chain, bearing the mark of Louis- François Cartier, circa 1860.
