Ilgiz F, Jewels inspired by Nature

Ilgiz F. was born in 1968 in Zelenodolsk, Republic of Tatarstan. He opened his first jewellery workshop in 1992 with the aim of reviving the craftsmanship of the Volga Tatars. Ilgiz’s signature style blends three distinct styles: Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and his national heritage of central Asian design and craftsmanship. He creates incredibly fine and exquisite works of wearable art that display true craftsmanship and skill. In 2011 and 2013 Ilgiz’s work was awarded the Grand Prix in International Jewellery Design Excellence Award. In 2016, Ilgiz F. became the first living designer to be honoured with a solo exhibition of his work at the Kremlin Museum, Moscow, since Pierre-Karl Fabergé in 1917.
