Lucie Heskett-Brem, Gold Weaver of Lucerne

Lucie Heskett-Brem was born in Lucerne, Switzerland, to a family of artists. She completed training as a goldsmith in 1992, and has been creating intricate handwoven designs ever since. Her skill lies in hand crafting chains from fine gold alloys, and her pieces are unique and sculptural. Each piece created by Heskett-Brem has a magical quality to it: her craftsmanship is unique and rare. Works by Heskett-Brem are in the permanent collections of the Cooper-Hewitt Museum and the Museum of Art and Design, both in New York City.
