More informationA late Victorian sapphire and diamond cluster necklace, consisting of thirteen sapphire and diamond clusters, each set with a cushion-cut sapphire surrounded by a rose-cut diamond set cluster and an openwork scalloped edge rose-cut diamond set outer frame, connected by single old-cut diamond-set collets, to an old-cut diamond-set back section terminating to a tulip shaped decoration and a diamond-set clasp, the sapphires estimated to weigh 14 carats in total, the diamonds estimated to weigh 7 carats in total, all set in silver to yellow gold back, circa 1900, measuring approximately 41 x 1.5cm, gross weight 21.6 grams.
