An Edwardian diamond-set tiara/necklace, to the centre an old-cut diamond estimated to weigh 0.7 carats assessed to be of I-J colour and S clarity, above it another old-cut diamond estimated to weigh 0.4 carat, all within a trefoil arch with floral decorations, the base with a bow and scroll design embellished with floral decorations, all set with small old-cut diamonds estimated to weigh a further total of 3 carats, all millegrain-set in platinum, attached to a nickel-silver frame, circa 1900, measuring 4.9 x 12.5cm, gross weight 24.7 grams.
This exquisite necklace exemplifies Edwardian style. This piece features a centrepiece of delicate openwork floral and foliate motifs set throughout with glittering diamonds. In the centre is a diamond set bow from which is suspended further foliate links and scintillating diamonds.
