A Victorian amethyst riviere necklace, the twenty-six oval-shaped faceted amethysts graduating in size from the center, the largest measuring approximately 1.8 x 1.2 cm, the smallest 1 x 0.7 cm, all set in gold cut-down collets to an open back, with a hidden box clasp, circa 1890, measuring 40 x 1.3 cm, gross weight 33.6 grams.
