A Victorian diamond riviere necklace

Description

A Victorian diamond riviere necklace, consisting of seventy-five old brilliant-cut diamonds graduating from the centre estimated to weigh a total of 13½ carats, assessed mounted to be of H – I colour and SI clarity, all mounted in silver cut-down collets with 15 carat yellow gold back, with a concealed snap clasp and foldable pendant loop, circa 1890, measuring 37.3×0.70cm, gross weight 20.3 grams.
