Description

An Edwardian diamond drop pendant necklace, the top with an old European-cut diamond estimated to weigh ½ carat, with diamond-set foliate decorations to each side, topped with three smaller diamonds forming an arch, suspending a drop of openwork design, terminating to a large old European-cut diamond estimated to weigh 1 carat, the small diamond estimateds estimated to weigh a further total of ½ carat, all millegrain set in silver to gold back, to a fine trace chain with a bolt ring clasp, circa 1905, the pendant measuring approximately 4.4 x 1.6 cm, the necklace measuring 40.5 cm long, gross weight 5.7 grams.
