A late Georgian ruby, sapphire and diamond enamel ring, set to the centre ruby, sapphire and diamond set in a trefoil shape between four rose-cut diamonds in 18ct yellow gold to a white enamel and gold engraved border leading to decorative white enamel shoulders in 18ct yellow gold, Circa 1800, the head measuring 1x1cm, finger size N, gross weight 2.6 grams.
An intricate and romantic late Georgian ring, made in around 1800. The setting of this ring features wonderful and detailed white enamel with bright gold. The enamelwork provides a lovely complement to the centre trefoil shape containing a diamond, ruby, and sapphire surrounded by further diamonds. The rose-cut diamonds are full of character and representative of early nineteenth diamond-cutting techniques. This is a charming and unique ring.
