A Regency pearl and emerald cluster ring, the square step-cut emerald measuring approximately 4 x 4mm, set to the centre of a cluster surround of eight natural pearls measuring approximately 3.4mm in diameter, three pearls set to each shoulder, all cutdown collet-set in yellow gold with a closed back to the settings, to a tapered fluted yellow gold shank with ornately-carved pierced shoulders, circa 1810, the head measuring 1.3x2cm, finger size I, gross weight 5.5 grams.
