A late Victorian ruby and diamond ring, the central oval-cut ruby weighing 0.61cts with two old brilliant-cut diamonds to top and bottom, linked by diamond-encrusted crescent motifs and diamond-set shoulders, the diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 0.66 carats, circa 1890, later hallmarked 18ct gold London 2016, the head measuring 1.6×1.8cm, finger size K 1/2, gross weight 2.9 grams.
