A late Georgian pearl and emerald cluster ring, the faceted emerald centre surrounded by six half-pearls, all set in gold cut-down collets, on a closed back mount with split foliate shoulders and engraved shank, circa 1810, the head measuring 0.9×1.4cm, finger size M, gross weight 2.0 grams.
A wonderful and romantic ring. Made in around 1810 at the height of the Regency era, this ring evokes all the charm and romance of Jane Austen’s England. A floral cluster of pearls surrounds a single vivid emerald, set in a scrolling and classically Georgian surround. This is a lovely ring that reflects all the splendour of the period.
