Description

A late Victorian ruby and diamond three stone carved half hoop ring, the central cushion-shaped mixed-cut ruby weighing 1.46 carats, accompanied by the Gem and Pearl laboratory report stating it to be of Burmese origin with no indication of heat treatment, set between two old mine-cut diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 0.80 carats, assessed mounted to be of I-J and K-L colour, SI1 and VS2 clarity, accordingly, further with five rose-cut diamond accents, each approximately 1mm in diameter, all claw-set to an ornate scroll carved 18ct yellow gold gallery and shoulders, to a tapered ridged gold shank, circa 1890, finger size Q, gross weight 3.4 grams,.
