Description

A Victorian chrysoberyl and ruby half-hoop ring, the five old cushion-cut chrysoberyls, graduating from the centre, estimated to weigh 1.35 carats in total, flanked from the top and the bottom by three small cushion-shaped rubies, estimated to weigh 0.23 carats, all claw-set to an ornate carved yellow gold gallery and shoulders, to a court-shaped shank measuring approximately 2.25mm wide, hallmarked 15ct gold, Birmingham 1872, finger size P, gross weight 2.1 grams.
