Description

A Victorian sapphire and diamond ring, the oval faceted sapphire weighing 1.48 carats and accompanied by Gem & Pearl laboratory report stating to be natural with no indication of heating, set between two old-European cut diamonds estimating to weight 0.75 carats each and assessed to be of I-J colour and SI clarity, with four rose-cut diamonds in-between and two small rose-cut diamonds set to the shoulders, all to a gold mount with carved scrolled decorations, circa 1880, measuring 1.9 x 0.8cm, finger size R ½, gross weight 4.6 grams.

A beautiful Victorian sapphire and diamond ring. This is a wonderful example of Victorian craftsmanship and would make the perfect engagement ring.
