A single stone rose-cut diamond ring, the full Dutch rose-cut diamond measuring 12.5-12.65×3.85mm and weighing 4.8 carats, assessed to be of M-N colour and SI2 clarity, deeply set with sixteen scallop-shaped claw to a round solid collet with silver inset and gold outlay, to reverse tapered shoulders richly hand engraved with scroll and foliate motifs, to a D-section shank measuring approximately 2.8mm wide at the base, not hallmarked, tested as 18ct gold and silver, finger size N, head measuring approximately 16.5mm in diameter, circa 1890, gross weight 11.25 grams,
