An archaeological style intaglio and gold brooch possibly by Castellani, the round carnelian intaglio measuring 1.5cm in diameter and depicting a resting warrior, mounted in a round gold brooch in the Hellenistic style with fine twisted wirework and granulation, circa 1870, measuring 3.2cm in diameter, gross weight 9.4 grams.
