A late Victorian silver tea set, comprising of a tea pot, a coffee pot, a sugar bowl and a cream jug, each body partly fluted with gadrooned rim depicting a bust in relief surrounded by foliate decoration, the coffee pot and tea pot both with curved spout and acanthus leaf decorations, the hinged lids with a wooden fluted pip top finial and wooden handle, the sugar bowl and cream jug with gilded interiors, measuring approximately; the coffee pot 22 x 22 x 13cm, the tea pot 14 x 27 x 15 cm, the sugar bowl 10 x 16 x 11 cm, and the cream jug 11 x 22 x 15 cm, all hallmarked London 1892, bearing the sponsor mark of William Gibson & John Lawrence Langman, gross weight 77 troy ounces.
