A George IV silver cruet stand by William Eaton, the rectangular shaped stand with reeded borders, on four lion-paw bracket-feet with acanthus decoration and scroll motifs, the central looped handle of similar design, with eight glass jars and bottles of faceted form, six with faceted glass stoppers and two with silver lids accompanied by associated spoon, the tray hallmarked sterling silver, London 1825, bearing the sponsor mark of William Eaton, measuring approximately 26 x 22 x 24 cm, the silver lid jars hallmarked sterling silver, Sheffield 1832, bearing the sponsor mark of Waterhouse, Hodson & Co, the spoons hallmarked sterling silver, London 1850, bearing the sponsor mark of Elizabeth Eaton, gross silver weight 38 troy ounces.
