A Victorian gold, pearl, diamond and blue enamel suite, consisting of a pendant-necklace and a pair of earrings, the pendant in the form of a golden round dome, centrally-set with an eight-point star-set with old mine-cut diamonds surrounded by blue champleve enamel border, all within a half-pearl set frame formed of a crescent terminating to a pear-shaped drop, with a bow-shaped surmount, the pearls graduating from 2 to 4 mm in diameter, all suspended from a diamond-set and enamel pendant loop, with a locket compartment to reverse, measuring approximately 9.8×3.6cm, suspended from a gold gas-pipe chain with a hidden clasp measuring approximately 41 cm long, the earrings of a similar design with detachable shepherd’s hook fittings, measuring approximately 8×2.5cm, the diamonds estimated to weigh 3½ carats in total, all mounted in yellow gold, accompanied by detachable pendant fittings for the earrings, all in a fitted box, circa 1860, gross weight 94.9 grams.
