A turn of the 20th century diamond-set fringe tiara, the base consisting of interlocking openwork geometric scroll sections set with small old-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 3¼ carats in total, with eleven knife-edge bars of foliate design each terminating to a large old European-cut diamond, the central diamond weighing 1.52 carats, the further ten old European-cut diamonds estimated to weigh 6 carats in total, all mounted in silver and yellow gold, to a later silver-gild tiara frame, to a later silver-gild tiara frame, circa 1900, the tiara measuring approximately 14 x 5.1 cm, gross weight 41.5 grams.
