Description

A pair of Victorian garnet and diamond drop earrings, each earring consisting of a pear-shaped cabochon garnet measuring approximately 14 x 8mm and applied with an old-cut diamond-set star, rubover-set in a gold collet and suspended from a smaller round garnet top of same design winked with a gold bow, all mounted in gold with hook wire fittings, circa 1880, measuring approximately 3.7 x 0.9cm, gross weight 6.2 grams.

The earrings showcase a charming design: a round garnet adorned with a delicate diamond and gold star, below a deep red pear-shaped garnet embellished with the same intricate design. Connecting these resplendent gems is a fine, graceful winked with a gold bow, all meticulously mounted in gold.
