A Late Victorian Sapphire And Diamond Five-stone Ring

A late Victorian sapphire and diamond five-stone ring, the five cushion faceted sapphires, accompanied by GCS laboratory report number 79181-55, stating sapphires to be of Burmese origin, weigh approximately 3.45 carats in total, with no indications of heat treatment, flanked by eight rose-cut diamonds, all set within a yellow gold ornately carved mount, bearing French import mark for 18ct gold, circa 1890, the head measuring 0.6x2cm, finger size L, gross weight 4.5 grams. This Victorian ring is in very good condition. Unmarked, tested as 18ct gold.

A stunning late Victorian five-stone ring. This ring features five hypnotic sapphires of a wonderfully vivid and bright blue colour. The sapphires are set with small but lively rose-cut diamonds in between them, and all the stones are set to a classically Victorian scroll-mount in yellow gold. This gorgeous ring would make a unique engagement ring.
