Description

An Edwardian amethyst and diamond cluster ring, the oval cabochon-cut amethyst measuring approximately 11x8mm, millegain-set in platinum collet and surrounded an openwork frame with sixteen individually-set rose-cut diamonds and a scalloped edge border embellished with tiny rose-cut diamonds, all fine millegrain-set in platinum mount with openwork gallery and D-section shank, circa 1910, measuring 1.9×1.9cm, finger size M ½, gross weight 5.6 grams.

An elegant Edwardian amethyst and diamond cluster ring features a stunning oval amethyst at its centre, set within a delicate platinum collet. It is surrounded by an intricate openwork frame adorned with sixteen shimmering rose-cut diamonds and bordered by a scalloped edge holding tiny, glittering diamonds.
