A late Victorian emerald and diamond five stone ring, the hexagonal-shaped step-cut emerald estimated to weigh 0.75 carats, set between two old mine-cut diamonds estimated to weigh a total of 0.7 carats, assessed to be of G-H colour and VS-I clarity, and two smaller rectangular step-cut emeralds estimated to weigh a further total of 0.2 carats, all claw-set in yellow gold mount with scrolled gallery and tapering shank, circa 1890, measuring 2.1 x 0.7 cm, finger size P, gross weight 4.2 grams.
